We never let language stand in the way of your care
Blue Shield of California Promise Health Plan offers members no-cost language services. These include interpreter services, translation services and materials in formats like Braille, large print and audio.
Interpreter services
Interpreters help you speak with us and your providers in your language, including American Sign Language. There is no cost for you or your provider for these services. You should not use friends, family members and minors to interpret.
Interpreters are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To schedule an in-person interpreter for your next appointment, call Customer Service at least 5 to 7 business days before your appointment.

Get materials in your language and preferred format
Member documents and health brochures are available in your language and preferred format. To ask for information in your language or preferred format call Customer Service.
